The first successful flight-test of indigenously-developed Agni-5 missile with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-Entry Vehicle Technology has been carried out by DRDO from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha. The flight-test was named ‘Mission Divyastra’. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh have congratulated the DRDO for the successful launch.
